John Oliver, who is well-known for his impressive explanations of complex issues, has come forward to answer the questions that people want to know about the cryptocurrency.

The host of “Last Week Tonight” delivered his 25-minute monologue, using Beanie Babies and an interview with a man who used chicken McNuggets as a comparison for the blockchain to break down the blocks.

“It’s everything you don’t understand about money combined with everything you don’t understand about computers,” Oliver joked when addressing the cryptocurrency issue.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies such as Ripples XRP or ethereum began to fame after all their prices increased until the end of 2017.

Bitcoin has maintained its presence in the media despite suffering a fall in prices in recent weeks.

In trying to explain bitcoin’s meteoric price increases, Oliver adds:

“Like most currencies, the fundamental reason why bitcoin has value is because people accept that it has value.

“In fact, for the moment, it is being treated more as a speculative investment than as a currency.

Bitcoin increased again above $ 10,000 on Thursday for the first time in two weeks

Oliver also gave warning about getting involved in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

He said:

“The important thing to remember here is that this is a new space, very complicated and, literally, nobody knows how it will develop, so you should be careful.
