FashionTV (FTV) announces that it accepts cryptocurrencies and that it will be launch an ICO token very soon. On several occasions, we have seen famous actors and artists promoting ICO or manifesting interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency platforms, but this time it is the well-known Fashion TV.

The announcement was made at a recent event and FashionTV announced through a press release. They Described FTV Coin Deluxe, the cryptocurrency will be used for the payment of FTV products and services, for access to exclusive shows and will be accepted in restaurants, hotels, clubs, and residences of the TV channel dedicated to fashion. FTV Coin Deluxe will be an ERC-20 token based on Ethereum.

To this announcement, it was added that FTV will also be accepting some of the most popular cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Litecoin. This idea presented by FTV is one of the first initiatives of cryptocurrencies carried out by a fashion and entertainment platform.

After a recount of its achievements since 1997 – when FashionTV was launched in Paris – Michel Adam, the president of the platform, revealed the cryptocurrency to the world, accompanied by a presentation by Ania J., with a song called “I want to be a crypto millionaire “. Regarding the release,

Adam stated:

Fashion TV’s coins are ERC20 tokens based on the Ethereum blockchain. The coins can be used by owners as corporate currency for various FashionTV products. On one side, these are the classic services of the group such as TV, streaming and video on demand services. In addition, FashionTV wants to offer the blockchain community its own platform for luxury goods and services, and aims at bringing the blockchain technology closer to the fashion community. To this end, FashionTV is developing a blockchain-based solution to have transparency for models and their parents in the model business, to ensure they get more money and are treated fairly (see chart)

The reasons that the well-known platform to integrate into the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, is to innovate and above all aim at the objective of offering a transparent solution for the models and their sponsors in the business of the modeling. Since on many occasions, the modeling agencies take the majority of the gains of the models.

The Initial Coin Offer (ICO) of the FTV Coin Deluxe is scheduled for two months and 1,500 million coins will be offered. Throughout 2018, FashionTV will launch the cryptocurrency market where it can be used for its purposes.

It should be noted that the FTV cryptocurrency was developed by FTV Media GmbH in Vienna, Austria and complies with the Austrian laws prepared by a legal firm, using Austrian banks. Despite this, since FashionTV is a highly known platform, we must remember that when investing in any project or ICO we must always review in detail its technical sheet and other details of the initiative, to avoid any inconvenience.

On the other hand, although it may not seem so, the fashion field is becoming another sector that seeks to integrate and take advantage of the advantages offered by blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
