Cory Johnson, a former Bloomberg Television host, has confirmed to CNBC that he has left the news network this week. He is as of now working at Ripple since Thursday. Johnson leaves the organization, but for a long time he contributed with his huge involvement in innovation, fund, and investigative news-casting.

As the new head of market strategy for Ripple, Johnson has a mission to study and understand the concepts and projects of the company and be more clarified about Ripple as an organization and the XRP as an asset that, according to him, very well explained to investors. The company wants to offer block payments software to financial institutions:

Johnson said.

“I’m going to try and explain, listen and set strategies to make it easy for Wall Street and the world of finance to understand what we’re doing.”

Ripple experiences an extremely unpredictable period in the market. Johnson will have the role of using his experience to stimulate acceptance of the company’s financial market ideas. Johnson has worked as a hedge fund manager and also has a good track record of investing. He went through companies like Kingsford Capital Management and Cannell Capital LLC always alternating in financial and technological sectors, and, of course, communication at Bloomberg.

Johnson will work with Ripple CFO Ron Will, who was appointed CFO late last year. Ron also has a track record of success in the financial arena, as the work done at TubeMogul that leveraged the organization and the bottom line was its acquisition by Adobe Systems.
