Each and every day there are so many people talking, trading, working on cryptocurrency. This has become a trend and the younger generation students want to learn about cryptocurrency, bitcoin and blockchain technology.
According to bitcoin.com the top-ranked business schools in the United States that are planning to add these subjects in their curriculum.
In Stanford University Graduate School of Business, the MBA students conducted a campaign in which they see these subjects as innovative and important for their careers.
“Many of us will have to discuss blockchain at our jobs. It makes sense to teach it,” explained second-year student Itamar Orr.
Looking at the demand and necessity of the students. Stanford University Graduate School of Business is planning to offer a full-time cryptocurrency course which will start from this May.
And when Stanford opened for registration they got a lot of applications and knew there was a huge demand for this subjects. The current registration is closed with fifty candidates on the waiting list.
We also see that Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania is also going to provide cryptocurrency classes for full-time. Besides, it’s not only students who are demanding for these classes but also the companies. Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business Executive Director stated that he is always been told by the Wall street, consulting firms recruiters saying
“You need to train them. We need people to understand how to apply blockchain technology.”
Jacob also said that any world-class program is going to have to equip students to compete in this field and its everywhere we see around in the world.
