Apple Co-founder and famed computer engineer, Steve Wozniak has shown immense interest in the crypto industry. To him, the world of cryptocurrency can be equated to an age when the internet was in infancy.
Recently, in a Chainxchange blockchain convention Wozniak(Woz) mentioned the importance of cryptocurrency in today’s world and what it holds for future generation.
The very thing which caught of attention of Woz is that ‘Bitcoin is purely based on Mathematics and what’s the interesting thing is creator will remain unknown. There’s a certain number of Bitcoin that can ever exist’
The technology brain behind Apple has always been known for his curious nature and recently eyed on crypto startup. He has also invested in a crypto group called Equi Capital.
Crypto World compared to the time when the Internet began
On Workfront Steve Wozniak is known for helping build world’s most valuable company Apple along with Mr.Jobs in the year 1976. Although Jobs left the company for a brief period of time, Woz was the computing mind who took the company to an altogether next level of technology.
Bitcoin by its very nature is trustless and hence anonymous. But this makes it so independent. In fact, Woz explained this very beautifully,
“It’s much better than human beings… I trust those things of nature more than what man makes up. Man makes up currencies, controls them, issues new US dollars every year; Bitcoin was immune to that”
He further elaborated that
“It’s kind of like the internet when it was brand new… I was amazed at the technology behind it”
The very reason he made a statement like that is Cryptocurrency or Blockchain has real potential to transform today’s business. Every day we hear a lot of news regarding the various banking, retails, sales and every possible sector harness this technology. This has a lot of impact on everyday life in general and this adds value to it. All these sum up to give an impression that crypto boom feels much like the dawn of internet days.
Albeit in midst of all these, there are few experts who opine Bitcoin is just a bubble which might burst anytime. Notable persons like Warren Buffet also doubt the potential of crypto power.
