Regulatory concerns may force Twitter to ban Cryptocurrency ads
After Facebook and Google, popular microblogging site Twitter may plan to implement crypto ad ban in coming two weeks. This statement is still an ‘Unconfirmed report’ and yet to be officially confirmed.
As reported by Sky News, through this new policy of regulation Twitter could prohibit advertising initial coin offerings(ICO’s), token sales and exchanges of cryptocurrencies at the global level.
The news was surfaced soon after the announcement of Facebook Crypto ad ban in January which are involved in promotional of illegal activities. Followed by Google’s recent update to its Financial Services policy that will ban crypto ads starting in June 2018.
Furthermore, both Facebook and Google have banned binary option trading due to an increased rate of Action fraud figures in Britain by 400,000% in six years.
